Stayed here for a long weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel, lovely staff and good central location to see all that Edinburgh has to offer. Would definitely stay here again.

A great value hotel in a quiet location within minutes of Princes Street. Very handy for the Playhouse. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was fantastic. Would recommend to others and would have no hesitation in staying here again. Many thanks.

This is about the only B&B near the town center. It is a great value for the money. Fiona and Freddie make it very comfortable to enjoy Edinburgh in a relaxed atmosphere. There breakfast is fabulous, they are friends with a really great cab driver Martin, and their rooms are clean and comfortable. My wife and our friends really enjoyed our stay. We stayed two nights, toured Scotland and Wales, and returned for our last night before departing back to the US. Of all the B&B's we stayed in on our journey this was one of the best.

A very friendly small hotel with personal service. Very convenient for the centre of Edinburgh and sight-seeing. Throroughly recommended and would not hesitate to book here again

We stayed overnight at The Broughton and were very comfortable. Freddie & Fiona were very helpful and even got up early to make us breakfast before the marathon. The hotel location is excellent, within walking distance of all the tourist attractions and shops with many restaurants close by. I would definitely stay there again.

I really enjoyed the hospitality, the perfect breakfast and the clean room with coffee-making facilities.
